How do I order?
Email me your order. I will send you an email invoice from google. If you're local, you can pay cash if you pick up your order.
Don't forget:
Deluxe Busy Books: There is a 5-page minimum when ordering your book. Be sure to include your book cover fabric choice.
Junior Busy Books: There is a 4 page minimum and 6 page maximum.
Please allow up to 3-4 weeks for completion of your book.
Books are hand-made and made to order.
I will get them done as soon as possible, but I also want to produce high quality work.
If you choose to PICK-UP...
I will set up a pick-up time via email. If you have not paid online, cash payment is due at the time of pick-up. I am located in Los Alamitos, CA.
What is a busy book?
A busy book (or sometimes called a quiet book) is usually a fabric book with a different activity on each page to keep children busy, thus keeping them quiet. Book pages usually help children learn different skills such as fine motor development, patterns, colors, shapes and imaginative play. Busy books are often used while traveling, at church, or waiting at a doctor's office.
How are the books put together?
Books and pages hot glued and/or sewn together.
How big is a busy book?
Junior Busy Books measure approximately 8.5 " by 6".
Deluxe Busy Books measure approximately 15" by 10 1/2".
Busy Mats measure approximately 13" by 10" when closed; 26" by 20" when opened.
Why does is take 3-4 weeks for my custom book to be completed?
Your busy book may be completed sooner than 3-4 weeks. However, remember that your book is handmade and lots of hours go into making every little detail just right. The books are made by a busy mom and the 3-4 week window allows for the work and creativity to be of the highest quality.
What if I need my book sooner? Can I put a rush on my order?
If you need your book ASAP, email me and let me know when you need it.
We might be able to work something out.
What age do you recommend for a busy book?
Busy books can grow with your child. Babies as young as 6 months may enjoy looking at the bright colors and feeling the different textures of the materials. Children as old as 7 or 8 years may enjoy playing a game of tic-tac-toe, racing a car around the track, or decorating a cake.
However, keep in mind that many of the pages include small parts not suitable for children under the age of 3 and could be a choking hazard. Supervise your children at ALL TIMES.
